In the course of his missionary activities Peter has been ambushed, come under aerial and artillery bombardments, been stabbed, shot at, beaten by mobs, arrested, imprisoned and tortured for Christ.

He has smuggled in and distributed hundreds of thousands of Bibles, New Testaments and Christian books into communist and Muslim nations.

Summary:

With recent court cases and Bills being proposed to further restrict religious freedom in education in South Africa, even more parents are withdrawing their children from government schools and turning to private Christian schools and home schooling.

Who is ultimately responsible for our children’s future? As we look behind the scenes at the state curriculum we consider the objectives and are shocked at the moral values, worldview and religious beliefs being propagated in the classroom. We need to learn from the history and philosophy of public school education and consider practical steps that we can take to protect our children from indoctrination in the classroom. We have for 24 years been researching and producing excellent resources to help parents as we seek to bring up our children in the love, fear and admonition of the Lord.

“And these Words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” Deuteronomy 6:6-7

More destructive than even the blatant paganism being promoted by the Hollywood entertainment industry, secular humanism in state schools is having an even more devastating effect on families, the Faith and our future.

For most of the last 2,000 years, schools have been pioneered and run by parents, Churches, Missions and Christian communities.

Who proposed state involvement in education?

Why was the public school system established?

Are public schools really religiously neutral?

Are our children physically and morally safe in state schools?

What are the schools actually teaching our children?

Can the public school system be fixed, or redeemed?

What can we do to help our children survive and thrive, not only resisting indoctrination, but receiving genuine Christian education?
